The scheme, which was designed by Devereux Architects with Allies & Morrison, will provide accommodation for more than 220 researchers, a 100-seat flexible seminar room and office space at the South East London campus. It will also create a new public court between the James Black Centre, the Maurice Wohl Clinical Neuroscience Institute and the Weston Education Centre.

The centre will bring a bold new approach to a range of neurological and psychiatric conditions which affect millions of people and for which there are currently few effective treatments.
